CHARGED ALPHA
About Colton

About the founder

Hello, my name is Colton.

I am the creator of Charged Alpha and all of its content. I originally built Charged Alpha with the goal of creating earnings breakdowns for every stock, so I could listen to earnings analysis during my day instead of having to read through reports one by one.

Since then, Charged Alpha has expanded into a video-first presentation platform for stock earnings reports, investing analysis, and financial education.

Why Charged Alpha exists

I wanted better earnings analysis I could actually keep up with.

I use frontier AI analysis to create standardized video presentations reviewing more than 1,000 stocks every quarter. The goal is to make earnings reports easier to follow, compare, and revisit without requiring people to spend their whole day reading filings and transcripts.

As I dug deeper into the tools of AI and coding, I started building out the rest of the Charged Alpha platform around investing analysis and education.

That eventually led to the free investing games: interactive market-history challenges that teach investing principles and concepts in a more engaging way than a static lesson.

Stock Library

Standardized earnings breakdowns

The long-term goal is to make it easy to search a stock, open its page, and find digestible earnings analysis, video coverage, podcast formats, and comparison context.

AI Workflow

Frontier AI analysis at scale

Charged Alpha uses AI-assisted research and presentation workflows to create consistent analysis formats across a large stock universe.

Interactive Market Education Apps

Interactive apps for learning market decisions

I am creating interactive apps that teach investing fundamentals and advanced market strategies through game-based decisions, historical context, and practical market scenarios.

How I think about education

Good market lessons should slow down the obvious answer.

  • Start with evidence and historical context.
  • Show the trade-off, not just the outcome.
  • Make risk, timing, and position sizing visible.
  • Give teachers resources that work without a paid gate.
  • All Charged Alpha content is educational only and is not financial advice.

For teachers and partners

Reach out if Charged Alpha can help your class.

I am especially interested in hearing from personal finance teachers, economics teachers, business departments, DECA and FBLA advisors, homeschool groups, and investing club sponsors.
