Charged Alpha does not ask for brokerage credentials and does not execute trades. Your course progress is stored primarily on your device. Email collection is optional, and app measurement uses a random identifier rather than your name, email, advertising identifier, or hardware identifier.
This policy is published by Crown Creek Capital LLC, doing business as Charged Alpha ("we," "us," "our"), and covers both the Charged Alpha mobile app (the "App") and the chargedalpha.com website (the "Site").
Learning progress and settings: completed pages, scores, badges, playback state, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Purchase status: the App uses RevenueCat to determine whether Premium is active and to restore purchases. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app-user identifier, product and transaction information, entitlement status, platform, app version, and limited device metadata. The App also attaches the random install identifier described below to the RevenueCat customer as a non-identity subscriber attribute so aggregate purchase outcomes can be compared with in-app funnel events.
Pseudonymous product analytics: the App sends a randomly generated install identifier, a session identifier, app version and build, platform, event time, and a limited set of actions such as first open, welcome choice, locked-content or paywall view, plan selection, and store result. These events do not include your name, email, advertising identifier, hardware identifier, typed searches, lesson financial inputs, or store error messages.
Store transactions: Apple or Google processes payment details. Charged Alpha does not receive your full card or bank-account number.
Requested market information: where live-data tools are available, a ticker or company query and the related data request may be sent to a market-data provider. Do not enter personal information into a ticker search.
Email updates (optional): if you choose to subscribe - from the welcome screen or the Settings toggle - the email address you enter is sent to Charged Alpha's backend and stored so we can send product news, new lessons, and investing research. Providing an email is never required to use the App, and you can opt out at any time in Settings or from any email we send.
The chargedalpha.com website is separate from the offline app. The Site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, page performance, and how visitors use public pages. The Site may also use basic cookies or similar browser storage for security, sessions, preferences, and normal functionality. Public pages can include embedded YouTube videos or subscribe buttons; when those load or are used, YouTube/Google may receive information according to Google's own privacy practices.
Information is used to preserve course progress, provide requested narration and interactions, validate Premium access, restore purchases, measure the pseudonymous learning and purchase funnel, deliver the email updates you request, understand aggregate website traffic, troubleshoot reliability, and improve our products. Charged Alpha does not sell personal information and does not use course activity for third-party targeted advertising.
Purchase and entitlement processing may involve RevenueCat, Apple, or Google. Pseudonymous app events and, if you opt in, your email-update preference are processed by our hosting infrastructure. An email-delivery provider may process your address solely to deliver requested messages. The website uses Google Analytics and may load embedded YouTube content. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.
Local progress remains until you clear it in the App, remove the App's data, or uninstall the App, subject to device backups. Undelivered pseudonymous analytics events may remain queued on the device for up to 30 days. We apply a 400-day retention window to delivered pseudonymous events and delete expired records during routine maintenance. Store transaction records and entitlement history may be retained by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat for accounting, fraud prevention, restoration, and legal obligations. Email subscriptions are retained while active; after an opt-out, a limited suppression record may be retained so we continue to honor that choice. Charged Alpha is a general-audience financial education product and is not directed to children under 13. If local law provides additional privacy rights, you may exercise them through the contact below.
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Material policy changes will be reflected by an updated effective date.
